Some summer fun, teen leadership opportunities and an animal of a show!!!
We are happy to announce that we will be performing Lion King Jr. this season with Kate Smith and Daniella Lovato as the co-directors. As we prepare for the show, we would like to share upcoming theatre opportunities that are open to students who are 6-18 years of age.
1. Theatre Workshop on August 23rd: This workshop will include rotations in dance, singing, acting and audition do’s/don’ts using Lion King Jr. song and script materials. Students can scan the QR code on the flyer to sign up for this FREE workshop, or use the link below. This is a great opportunity to help prepare students specifically for their Lion King Jr. audition OR for students who just want to come learn some theatre skills who are not auditioning for Lion King Jr. (Adult & teen leadership opportunities still available. 2. The Barn Theater Baseball Night August 30th: This will be a fun night of enjoying baseball, getting to know each other, and raising money to fund the production of Lion King Jr. Buy tickets by using the qr code on the flyer, or the link below.
3. Lion King Jr Auditions on September 2nd and 3rd: Students scan the QR code on the flyer to access the audition packet with all the detailed information, or use the link below. The packet has everything they need including a link to sign up for their audition time slot and to fill out the audition form. Students can fill out the audition form electronically or using the packet. We highly encourage audition sign ups rather than walk-ins and all students must complete the audition form. (Adult & teen leadership opportunities still available for the production. To inquire reach out to Kate or Daniella)
Rehearsals: September 9th-December 4th (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs)
Rehearsal Times: Performers will rehearse for a 2hr window between 5:00-8:00 pm. Times will vary depending on your casted role and age.
Performances: December 5th-21st (Friday, Saturday, Sunday Shows)
We are looking forward to having some eager theatre students come through one or all of these opportunities!
