Writer’s Block

Jack Kramden is a successful Broadway playwright who lives in a New York apartment with his wife Laura. His agent, Marty Mareno, is anxiously awaiting the completion of Jack’s newest play. Vince Morello, his well-regarded and powerful producer, is more than eager to have the new script in his hand to present to the demanding investors. There’s just one problem, Jack is suffering from the cursed writers block. Jack is panicked as the clock starts to tick loudly. Laura does her best to be supportive, but Jack is nearly beside himself with worry and frustration. From out-of-nowhere a strange duo, Celia and Trina, appear in his office offering to assist Jack in defeating his block and write the play. Later, a third stranger, Samantha, appears to aid in completing the task. Mr. Morello has begun to put great threatening pressure on Jack to complete the play, which Jack hadn’t even begun to write. This pressure to succeed grows and somehow Jack, with the aid of the three mystic “Advisors” as they liken themselves to be, completes the task to the relief of his loyal wife, Marty, and Mr. Morello.
